THE Philippines’ global competitiveness ranking in digital terms has fallen by 10 notches, to 56th out of 63 countries from last year’s 46th, based on a report released on Tuesday.

The 2018 World Digital Competitiveness (WDC) report, issued by Switzerland’s International Institute for Management Development (IMD), also ranked the Philippines among the lowest in the Asia Pacific at 12th out of 14, down one rung from last year.
